Another great gig this Autumn in Poland! On Saturday (21 Nov 2009), Berlin club trio - Jahcoozi will take over Obiekt Znaleziony in Warsaw to celebrate the second birthday of the venue which has become a permanent feature on the cultural map of the capital city of Poland. Not only Jahcoozi will perform live, but also Robot Koch will play a special live set! I'm so stoked to see and meet them! I appeal to you, open-minded citizens of Warsaw - do come to Obiekt Znaleziony this Saturday, don't miss such a rare opportunity to experience two killing live performances at one take.
Apart from their original productions, Jahcoozi (as a group and individual members) have been avid collaborators on numerous projects with many artists across the globe, to mention just a few: Mochipet, King Cannibal, Sukh Knight, Tolcha, Missil. Expect a great show, full of energy and fantastic beats. I love Sasha Perrera's vocal, but most of all I'm a big fan of Robot Koch, the main man behind the project and for me personally the leading producer of electronic music scene at the moment. He has just dropped an amazing debut album Death Star Droid on his own label Robots Don't Sleep (check this site for free goodies from Robot Koch and some surprising arts). The best track from this album (IMHO) - Hard to Find was also featured on the recently released chart-breaking an-ten-nae's Acid Crunk vol. 2 compilation. This track occupied the first spot on the electronic music charts on beatport for a few weeks!!
Listen and BUY Robot Koch - Death Star Droid, it's worth every penny. Stay tuned for a review on my blog soon.
